Job Description
Cabin Fitter & Yard Operative - We are looking for someone who has a good level of general DIY skills who is happy to turn their hand to any job that is required. They will be taking on the job of refurbishing 2nd hand Site cabins which includes the following;-
Duties
- Preparing units for paint, internally and externally (Sanding down, filling holes and fixing any imperfections before painting).
- Basic plumbing, joinery, kitchen fitting.
- Fitting windows and doors.
- Painting of units internally and externally.
- Fitting new plasterboard sheets on walls and ceilings.
- Use of power tools.
- Removing & replacing vinyl flooring.
- Attending breakdowns in company Van.
- Site installations and trimming out linked units on site.
- General Maintenence of units
Requirements
- General maintenance/ DIY skills.
- Forklift experience
- Previous experience in construction-related roles such as roofing, plumbing, welding, or joinery. (Cabin fitting experience would be great)
- Knowledge of painting techniques.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols within a construction environment
- Experience working on Site Cabins or in a similar specialized setting is a plus
- Good work ethic
Pay: £33,800.00 per year
