Customer Sales Advisor
Location: Hemel Hempstead Depot (Unit 9, McDonald Business Park, Maylands Ave, Hemel Hempstead HP2 7EB)
Salary: Starting £27,248, rising to £28,059 upon successful completion of your training

We're looking for a Customer Sales Advisor to join our team in LOCATION. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll be at the heart of your depot – supporting customers, generating sales, carrying out home measures and helping with the day-to-day running of a successful branch.

What you'll be doing:
- Building strong relationships with new and existing trade customers
- Providing excellent customer service face-to-face, over the phone and through proactive outreach
- Calling customers to keep them engaged, identify new sales opportunities and help grow your depot's customer base
- Creating quotes, following up enquiries and helping customers find the right products for their projects
- Carrying out home measure appointments when required
- Supporting customers at the trade counter and processing sales
- Picking and packing orders, supporting deliveries and helping keep the depot running smoothly
- Supporting goods-in, stock control, merchandising and maintaining a clean, organised showroom
- Working closely with your depot team to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding service
What we're looking for:
✅ A positive, hardworking team player with a "can do" attitude
✅ Someone who enjoys talking to people and building relationships
✅ Someone who is confident speaking to customers face-to-face and over the phone
✅ Organised, reliable and willing to get stuck in wherever needed
✅ Previous sales, customer service, trade or warehouse experience is helpful, but the right attitude matters most
✅ Comfortable handling and moving heavy products safely as part of the role
✅ A full UK driving licence (home measure appointments are part of the role)
Working hours:
- Monday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Wednesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday: 9:00am – 1:00pm (half day)
- Sunday: Always off
