Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver/Labourer to join our team. This role involves managing a small team and taking charge on-site with general labour tasks across various sites. The majority of the projects will comprise of tarmac and concrete works. Prior experience in industrial works/sites is recommended.
Shifts will be 7:30 - 3:30 Mon-Fri
Requirements
- Safely operate company vans with the ability to tow safely.
- Loading and unloading items, ensuring proper handling and securement during transit.
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks as required, maintaining safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team members and managers regarding work schedules or operational updates.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas and vehicles.
- Follow all health and safety regulations including the correct workwear.
- Workwear is not supplied
- A HAUC card would be seen as valuable but not mandatory
- Valid driver’s licence.
Experience
- Previous experience with towing heavy loads or as a commercial driver is preferred.
- Familiarity with tarmac and landscaping.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients.
- Experience in driving commercial vehicles or lorries will be considered an asset.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
