We are currently recruiting 2 experienced Multi-Skilled Operatives to join a busy reactive maintenance contract covering social housing properties across Reading, Basingstoke and Thatcham.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor working on the Home Group contract, carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance across occupied properties.
The Role
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out a range of reactive maintenance and repair works, including:
- Day-to-day reactive repairs and general maintenance
- Door adjustments, repairs and general carpentry
- Flooring repairs and renewals
- Basic plumbing and patch repairs
- General remedial and property maintenance works
- Working within occupied social housing properties
- Completing all works efficiently and to a high standard
- Providing a professional and respectful service to tenants
Requirements
- Proven experience in reactive maintenance or social housing repairs
- Multi-trade or multi-skilled background preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Own tools and transport preferred
- CSCS card preferred
- Reliable and professional approach to work
