The Role
We are currently seeking reliable, professional, and customer-focused Coach & PSV Bus Drivers to join our team. The role involves driving a variety of vehicles on scheduled routes, private hires, and tour work while ensuring passenger safety and comfort at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate coaches and PSV buses on assigned routes and journeys
- Provide excellent customer service to all passengers
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation of vehicles
- Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and company policies
- Assist passengers where required, including those with mobility needs
Requirements
- Valid UK PCV (Category D) driving licence
- Valid CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
- Digital tachograph card - for Coach work
- Good knowledge of UK road networks (local knowledge desirable)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Flexible approach to working hours (including weekends and occasional evenings for Coach work)
- A professional, reliable, and punctual attitude
Desirable (but not essential)
- Previous experience in coach or bus driving
- Experience with tour or private hire work
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
