Role purpose:
Working as part of a friendly team, the role of the Customer Service & Online Listing Assistant entails responding to day-to-day queries, ensuring sales are processed effectively and listing of items for sale on various online platforms, such as Etsy and eBay. The role will also include picking and packaging items to be dispatched to customers, the processing of claims with The Royal Mail and couriers and maintaining contracts for service in place to support business operations.
Key responsibilities:
The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
· Providing a high standard of customer service to all customers.
· Responding to incoming sales queries via phone, online or email.
· Promptly resolving any issues as they arise to a swift resolution.
· Maintaining knowledge of current inventory and product offerings.
· Building and maintaining positive relationships with new and existing customers.
· Processing all Royal Mail and Courier claims.
· Listing items for online sales to include, Etsy, eBay and Amazon.
-Picking, packaging and distributing orders to customers.
· Providing support with the maintenance of bin contracts.
· Collaborating with colleagues to maintain a positive working environment.
· Keeping the Team Leader updated and advising of any concerns that may arise.
· Providing administrative support and assistance to both the Team Leader and the wider team as required.
Key skills:
· Excellent standard of customer service skills, both face to face, via telephone and written communication.
· Previous commercial experience of listing items for sale on online platforms, such as eBay, Amazon and Etsy is advantageous, but training can be provided for the right candidate.
· Solution focused with the ability to resolve issues promptly as they arise.
· Good IT skills.
· Strong diligence and accuracy to ensure a right first-time approach is maintained.
· Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
· A strong collaborator who is adaptable and willing to help others, as necessary.
