We are recruiting for a Skilled Production Operative to join a growing manufacturing business in the Denbigh area.
Location: Denbigh area
Salary: £13.50 per hour (£28,080 per annum based on 40 hours) + increases at 12 weeks.
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm
Job Type: Permanent
This is an important role within the large-volume liquid manufacturing team, producing batches of up to 2 tonnes of liquid pigment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating production equipment to manufacture liquid pigment
- Following production processes and safety procedures
- Operating an FLT to move raw materials and finished products
- Managing a dedicated storage area and keeping stock organised
- Working alongside an experienced operator to learn the manufacturing process
- Maintaining high standards of safety, quality and housekeeping
- Becoming confident working independently and taking ownership of your area
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing or a similar environment
- A valid FLT licence and confidence operating an FLT
- A hands-on, reliable and self-motivated approach
- The ability to learn a specialist process and work independently
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic
- The ability to work well as part of a small team
Full training will be provided by an experienced team member with extensive knowledge of the process.
