Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on railway construction sites. Your expertise with hand tools, power tools, and electrical systems will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Duties
- Install electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment following technical specifications and safety standards
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform electrical tasks accurately and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify issues or potential hazards
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and perform repairs promptly to minimize project delays
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to coordinate installation activities
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety checks
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant electrical codes and regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as an electrician within construction or industrial environments
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and safety standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting
- Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work (where applicable) are preferred
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
