Barker’s Tavern is our upscale tavern in Cardiff’s Castle Arcade, serving considered drinks in a warm, characterful room with a strong local feel. It is polished without being precious, busy without losing the human touch and built around proper hospitality. A grounded place to develop your craft, look after regulars and work with a team that takes the trade seriously.

Pay: £12.91 per hour + tips. 100% of the tipjar goes to the team.
Hours: Full-time and part-time available

What you’ll be doing
- Pouring pints, mixing cocktails and serving spirits to brand specification
- Looking after guests with consistent, attentive service
- Keeping the bar tidy, stocked and service-ready
- Taking cash and card payments accurately
- Supporting the team through busy services
- Contributing to the standards and atmosphere of the Tavern
Who we’re after
A reliable, hospitable bartender who takes pride in doing the fundamentals brilliantly. You are strong with guests, calm under pressure and happy to muck in wherever the service needs you. Experience is welcome, full training is provided either way.
