What You'll Be Doing
Support the Executive Head Chef and Sous Chef in all kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food production, cost control, and excellent hygiene standards. Assist with training and developing the kitchen team while helping deliver an outstanding guest experience.
Supervisory Duties
- Support the Executive Chef in achieving Food & Beverage goals.
- Train, develop, and motivate the kitchen team to exceed guest service standards.
- Assist with menu planning and implementation.
General Kitchen Duties
- Prepare food safely and to the correct standards in line with HACCP guidelines.
- Follow food safety procedures, including FIFO, labeling, storage, and temperature control.
- Maintain food quality, portion control, and minimise waste.
- Monitor equipment and food temperatures, reporting any faults or maintenance issues.
- Keep up to date with food safety policies and legal regulations.
What we’re looking for
- Great communication skills and teamwork-oriented
- Positive outlook and drive to go the extra mile
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is a big plus (but not essential)
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) with a variety of shifts, including weekends.
