Coffee Barker is our daytime coffee shop in Cardiff’s Castle Arcade, serving brunch, coffee and busy café services with a friendly, constant buzz. The kitchen runs properly when the KP is on it, so we’re hiring someone reliable, fast and proud of keeping a clean, organised kitchen.
Location: 1-13 Castle Arcade, Cardiff, CF10 1BU
Pay: £12.91 per hour + tips. 100% of the tipjar goes to the team.
Hours: Full-time and part-time available
Experience: Kitchen experience required
What you’ll be doing
- Washing pots, pans, crockery and utensils throughout service
- Keeping the kitchen clean, tidy and food-safe at all times
- Supporting the chefs with simple prep when needed
- Managing waste, recycling and bins
- Following all hygiene and health and safety standards
- Supporting the team through busy services
Who we’re after
A reliable, hard-working KP with good energy and a strong work ethic. You take pride in the work, keep going when service is busy and understand that a clean kitchen is what lets everyone else do their job properly. Experience is welcome, full training is provided either way.
