Location: Various commercial buildings across Glasgow.

Salary: £44,000 per year + Van & Fuel Card

The Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Portable Appliance Tester (PAT Tester) to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for carrying out electrical safety testing in line with current IET Code of Practice, on a wide range of portable appliances across commercial, industrial, and office environments, predominately in Glasgow.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, travelling to different sites, and ensuring high safety standards for clients. PVG check will be required for this role due to the nature of the premises you will be working in.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct PAT testing on portable electrical appliances in line with current regulations
- Accurately record and submit test results using company systems
- Identify faults, hazards, and non-compliant equipment
- Communicate clearly with clients on-site
- Maintain all equipment provided
- Follow all health and safety procedures
Requirements
· Qualified Electrician
· 18th Edition
- PAT Testing qualification (e.g., City & Guilds 2377) desirable
- Experience in PAT testing is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Full UK driving licence
- Great communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
