Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces in accordance with established standards.
- Maintain high levels of hygiene by sanitizing bathrooms, kitchens, and other shared facilities.
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for everyone.
- Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and uniforms.
- Support team members during busy periods by helping with additional cleaning tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment usage; certification in health and safety practices is a plus.
- Hospitality or janitorial experience will be considered an asset.
