About the Role
Mercy in Action is seeking a reliable Supervisor to assist the Shop Manager in the day-to-day operation of our Bear Flat charity shop. The role involves supporting sales performance, maintaining shop standards, and helping ensure the shop runs efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the achievement of daily sales targets and maximise Gift Aid
* Deliver a high standard of customer service
* Manage and rotate stock in line with company guidelines
* Maintain visual merchandising, displays, and window standards
* Follow the Retail Handbook and Health & Safety procedures
* Act as a key holder and ensure the security of cash, stock, staff, and premises
* Complete basic shop administration and report operational issues
* Support volunteers and assist with wider charity initiatives when required
This role may involve moderate bending, stretching, and lifting. Reasonable adjustments will be considered for disabled applicants.
