Are you a compassionate, motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) looking to develop your career within a supportive and dynamic acute inpatient environment?
Dova Unit is a busy acute mixed-sex mental health ward providing assessment, treatment and recovery-focused care for adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties. We are looking for enthusiastic Band 5 Nurses who are committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care and helping people through some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work alongside psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, support workers, social workers and peer support staff to deliver safe, effective and compassionate care.
Delivering high-quality nursing care to patients experiencing acute mental health crises.
Undertaking comprehensive mental health assessments and contributing to care planning.
Managing a named nurse caseload and coordinating patient care throughout admission.
Administering and monitoring medication in line with Trust policies.
Supporting patients in their recovery journey and promoting independence.
Developing therapeutic relationships with patients, carers and families.
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Contributing to risk assessment, risk management and safeguarding processes.
Supporting junior staff, students and new team members.
Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation using electronic patient records.
