We are seeking a skilled Labourer with a full UK driving licence (cars/3.5 tonne) to join our dynamic construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for helping and assisting the Lead scaffolder in erecting, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures on various sites across. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction-related trades to utilise their expertise in a professional environment. Applicants must be organised, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to ensure efficient project completion.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead scaffolder in erecting, altering and dismantling scaffolding structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications
- Assist with site preparation, including loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Collaborate closely with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, and electricians to facilitate seamless workflow
- Follow all health and safety regulations diligently to minimise risk on site
- Proven experience as a Scaffold labourer within the construction industry strength and fitness is vital for this role
- Full UK driving licence (cars/3.5 tonne) is essential
- Knowledge of relevant safety standards and regulations governing scaffolding work
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment related to scaffolding assembly
- Additional skills in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, electrical work are highly desirable
- Familiarity with site-specific requirements such as site logistics and material handling
