As a Supervisor in our Cambridge store, you'll guide our customers with expertise and enthusiasm to find the right piece of kit for their adventure. You’ll support the Sales Assistants to drive sales and keep the store looking its best and assist managers with staff development and store procedures. What You’ll Do:
· Supervise the shop floor on behalf of managers, ensuring stock levels are maintained and the store is kept clean and presentable
· Support junior colleagues with sales and personal development
· Lead the team to achieve sales targets
· Oversee specialist departments such as snowsports
· Maintain store operations and payment transactions with care and accuracy
· Help customers and respond to issues in a professional manner
· On The Job training to keep up to date with brand developments and product technology
Who You Are:
· Friendly and approachable, with an interest in the ethos of Ellis Brigham and the great outdoors
· Organised and able to work quickly and accurately
· Fluent in English – other languages are a bonus
· Experienced in a customer service role
· Able to support colleagues and delegate tasks as necessary
· Great communicator and able to connect with customers, store staff members and head office staff
· Patient and willing to help with customer complaints and feedback
· Interested in developing your management skills
