We are looking for a skilled and motivated Estates Maintenance Technician (Mechanical) to join our Estates Team and help ensure our hospitals and healthcare facilities remain safe, compliant, and fully operational for patients, visitors, and staff.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced mechanical technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance and engineering services and wants to make a real difference within the NHS. Working across a diverse healthcare estate, you will undertake a wide range of planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, installation, and improvement works on mechanical building services, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water systems, medical gas infrastructure, and associated plant and non medical equipment.
As an Estates Technician (Mechanical), you will have the opportunity to apply your technical expertise to complex engineering challenges, support the delivery of estates projects, mentor colleagues and apprentices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our Estates service. You will play a vital role in ensuring our mechanical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with statutory requirements, helping to create an environment where exceptional patient care can flourish.
