The Tinned Fish Market is an independent retailer specialising in premium tinned seafood from some of the world's best producers. We operate a warehouse in Bermondsey and shops at Borough Market and Old Spitalfields Market, delivering exceptional products alongside outstanding customer service.
We're looking for a reliable, organised and friendly self-employed delivery driver to support our growing business with regular weekly stock deliveries.
The Role
You'll be responsible for collecting stock from our warehouse in Bermondsey and delivering it safely and efficiently to our market locations.
Responsibilities
- Collect stock from our warehouse in Bermondsey Trading Estate (2 days a week).
- Deliver stock to:
- Borough Market (twice per week).
- Old Spitalfields Market (once per week).
- Load and unload stock safely and carefully.
- Ensure deliveries arrive on time and in excellent condition.
- Report any delivery issues promptly.
- Represent The Tinned Fish Market professionally when interacting with our team.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual.
- Friendly and professional.
- Physically able to lift and move boxes of stock.
- Well organised with good time management.
- Comfortable driving in Central London.
Essential Requirements
- Own medium-sized van suitable for transporting boxed food products.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Appropriate vehicle insurance.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Previous delivery or courier experience preferred but not essential.
