Duties
- Perform detailed diagnostics on mobile phones, tablets, and other electronic devices to identify hardware or software issues
- Use hand tools and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble devices with precision
- Troubleshoot computer hardware components related to device repair, including screens, batteries, cameras, and internal circuits
- Follow schematics and technical manuals to accurately repair complex electronic systems
- Conduct routine maintenance on devices to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- Repair computer hardware components when necessary, including ports, chips, or internal modules
- Assist customers by explaining repair processes and providing guidance on device care and maintenance
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge of electronic devices and their internal components
- Hands-on experience with hand tools used in electronics repair
- Familiarity with computer hardware repair and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for electronic circuits
- Experience repairing computers or related equipment is highly desirable
- Knowledge of computer networking basics can enhance troubleshooting capabilities
- Prior experience in equipment repair or maintenance roles is a strong plus
