Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team at Parsons Green Commercial. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across a commercial premises. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial services and a keen eye for detail. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing your cleaning skills within a supportive team.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces across commercial spaces.
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, small kitchen and communal areas to meet health and safety standards.
- Empty bins, dispose of waste responsibly.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly.
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment.
- Adhere to client-specific cleaning schedules and customise tasks as required.
- Ensure all areas are kept tidy, organised, and presentable throughout the shift.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently without supervision.
- Good organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within allocated timeframes.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations.
- Reliable with a positive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in creating clean, hygienic environments in busy commercial settings. Candidates should be organised, diligent, and committed to delivering excellent service at all times.
An additional hour every other week is given for washing of cloths and tea towels for the business.
Pay: £13.50-£15.00 per hour
