Ryders Chemist is a well-established independent community pharmacy serving the local Formby community. We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly and supportive team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dispenser who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
As a Pharmacy Dispenser, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, including:
- Dispensing and labelling prescriptions accurately
- Assembling prescribed items
- Selling over-the-counter medicines and healthcare products
- Providing advice and information on symptoms, medicines, and healthcare products
- Ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical stock
- Maintaining stock levels and carrying out date checks
- Promoting NHS and private pharmacy services
- Supporting the supply and management of pharmaceutical stock
- Delivering excellent customer service and patient care at all times
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 year's experience working in a pharmacy dispensary
- Level 2 Pharmacy Dispensing Qualification (NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively within a team and in a busy environment
- Friendly, professional, and approachable manner
