Job Description:
Due to company growth we are now hiring for production operators to join our team.
Reporting to the Production Manager, your duties will include:
- Manufacture of various products using Presses, Cutting and Finishing Machinery.
- Recording Production Output.
- Contributing to Process Improvement.
- Maintenance of a tidy and safe workplace.
- Full time - 39 hour week
- Shift work
(Day shifts: Monday to Thursday 06:45 - 17:00/ Night shifts: Monday to Wednesday 17:00 - 03:30, Thursday 17:00- 02:30)
- First three months will be day shifts until training is complete.
- Once training has been completed shifts will alternate - 1 week on days/ 1 week on nights.
Qualifications/Experience:
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work safely around and with machinery.
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Experience in a production environment desirable but not essential.

Salary:
18 -20 year olds: £11.35/ hr for the first 3 months.
21 and over: £12.76/ hr for the first 3 months.
After training period has been successfully completed, salary will be reviewed.
Night shift allowance is an additional 25% of the day shift hourly rate.
Friday overtime is at 1.5 of your normal daily rate
Saturday overtime is double your daily rate
