We are seeking a dedicated and energetic school cleaning professional to maintain a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This role involves performing thorough cleaning duties at school facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and safety are consistently met. The ideal candidate will bring experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work, demonstrating attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining a pristine learning environment. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, and other common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures to promote a healthy environment.
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, toilet paper, and cleaning materials as needed.
- Follow established health and safety protocols to ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Adhere to school policies regarding confidentiality and security while performing cleaning duties.
- Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning initiatives as directed by management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently.
- A positive attitude and reliability are essential for success in this role.
