Brackenlea Care Home is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and caring Cleaner to join our friendly team. The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. Working week is Monday- Friday 9am-2pm.
Main Duties
- Cleaning residents' bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention.
- Ensuring cleaning schedules are completed and documented.
- Safe use and storage of cleaning products in line with COSHH regulations.
- Reporting maintenance issues or health and safety concerns.
- Following all care home policies and procedures.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Understanding of infection control and health & safety practices.
- A caring and respectful attitude towards older people.
