ML Meat Supplies is a growing food manufacturing business based in North London, supplying quality products to retail and wholesale customers across the UK.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with multi-skilled capability to join our engineering team and support the safe, efficient and reliable operation of our production facility.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys fault finding, preventative maintenance, improving machinery reliability and supporting production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery.
- Carry out fault finding on electrical control systems, sensors, motors and equipment.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and support production continuity.
- Complete mechanical repairs and adjustments where required.
- Assist with installation, commissioning and improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Follow company health, safety and food safety procedures.
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer or similar role.
- Strong electrical fault-finding skills within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Experience with planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Good understanding of production machinery and automated equipment.
- Experience with PLC fault finding would be an advantage.
- Mechanical maintenance experience would be highly desirable.
- A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
Pay: £40,000.00-£57,673.32 per year
