Due to continued growth and ambitious expansion plans, we are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager / Business Ambassador to join our team and help drive the next stage of our success.
The Role
This is more than a traditional sales role. We are looking for a genuine ambassador for our business – someone who can represent the Leisure Guard Security brand, build meaningful relationships, and identify opportunities that create long-term value for both our clients and our company.
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, attending networking events, managing client relationships and promoting our full range of security services throughout the UK.
This is a hybrid role with a focus on the North West, although travel across the UK will be required.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple sectors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Attend industry events, exhibitions and networking functions.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits and presentations.
- Prepare and present professional proposals and quotations.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve agreed revenue targets.
- Promote the Leisure Guard Security brand and act as a company ambassador.
- Keep up to date with industry developments and competitor activity.
- Support tender opportunities and framework applications where required.

About You
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' business development or sales experience within the security industry.
- Strong understanding of the UK security sector and client requirements.
- Proven track record of winning new business and developing client relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, organised and target-driven.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Own vehicle and willingness to travel throughout the UK.
- Professional appearance and approach when representing the business.
Desirable:
- Existing network of contacts within construction, commercial, retail, healthcare or facilities management sectors.
- Experience responding to tenders and procurement opportunities.
- Knowledge of ACS standards and the wider security industry landscape.
