Leisure World Group is a family-owned business established in 1984 and one of the UK’s established names in the leisure vehicle industry.
We are much more than a traditional dealership. We sell an extensive range of new and used caravans, motorhomes and campervans, alongside operating one of the largest lifestyle stores in our industry, our Terrace Café Bar & Eatery, and a comprehensive service and repair centre.
As we continue to develop the business, we are looking for an organised and dependable Sales Administrator to join our team.
The Role
This is a varied and important position at the heart of our sales operation.
The Sales Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the administrative side of the sales department runs efficiently and accurately, providing the necessary checks and balances throughout the sales process and ensuring that information, documentation and reporting are kept up to date.
You will work closely with our sales team, management, manufacturers, customers and other departments within the business.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining accurate sales records, customer orders and vehicle information
- Processing and monitoring manufacturer and stock orders
- Ensuring sales documentation and deal files are complete and compliant
- Coordinating vehicle registrations and relevant vehicle checks
- Monitoring customer orders, part exchanges, vehicle arrivals and handovers
- Producing regular sales, stock and management reports
- Identifying missing information or outstanding actions and ensuring these are followed through
- Liaising with manufacturers and their account managers
- Assisting with the administration of our motorhome hire operation
- Supporting stock audits and other departmental checks
- Maintaining sales team rotas, holidays and relevant employee records through our Healthbox system
- Providing general administrative support to the Sales Director and wider sales department
The responsibilities of the position are varied and will naturally evolve in line with the requirements of the department and the wider business.
About You
We are looking for someone who is highly organised, methodical and comfortable taking responsibility for keeping things on track.
You should have good attention to detail and be confident following up outstanding actions with colleagues. You will need to be comfortable working to deadlines and ensuring that information requested by management is available accurately and on time.
Previous administration experience would be beneficial, although experience within the caravan, motorhome or automotive industry is not essential.
Good general computer skills and a willingness to learn our internal systems are important.
Above all, we are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive and takes pride in making sure things are done properly.
Hours
This is a full-time position working five days per week, Monday to Friday.
Some flexibility will be required to support occasional show weekends, exhibitions and other company events.
