Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data within our systems, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring data integrity. Responsibilities
- Inputting data accurately into various software programmes such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and Google Workspace
- Maintaining and updating databases with precise information
- Organising files and documents to ensure easy retrieval and compliance with company standards
- Assisting with administrative tasks including filing, scanning, and photocopying
- Responding professionally to phone enquiries using good phone etiquette
- Verifying data accuracy through regular audits and cross-checks
- Supporting other administrative staff with clerical duties as required
- Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information at all times
Experience
- Proven office experience or administrative background
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and QuickBooks
- Excellent typing speed and accuracy for efficient data entry
- Previous clerical or data entry experience is desirable
- Organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Familiarity with data management systems and software applications used in office environments
