Paralegal The Role
You will support experienced solicitors on a varied caseload involving public and private childcare matters. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting vulnerable clients and supporting proceedings involving children and families.
Childcare Paralegal Key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting solicitors with childcare and family law matters
- Preparing legal documents, bundles, and court applications
- Liaising with clients, barristers, local authorities, and third parties
- Managing case files and maintaining accurate records
- Attending court hearings and client meetings where appropriate
- Conducting legal research and drafting correspondence
- Providing sensitive and professional client support throughout cases
Paralegal The Candidate
The firm is looking for a motivated and compassionate individual who has:
- Previous experience within Family Law or Childcare Law
- Experience with Legal Aid
- Strong organisational and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive and professional approach
- Experience preparing bundles and court documents is desirable
