We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. Duties
- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
- Manage patient records and maintain accurate documentation of treatments administered.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care instructions to patients.
- Schedule appointments and manage the dental practice's calendar efficiently.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a nurse, preferably within a dental setting.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent patient care abilities, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times.
- Proficiency in IT systems used for dental practice management, including record keeping and scheduling software.
- Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated when required.
