An exciting opportunity!
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and inspiring Targeted Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Team Manager to lead, manage and develop a high-performing service that supports young people to achieve positive education, employment and life outcomes.
This key leadership role ensures the effective delivery of high-quality, targeted IAG support for specified cohorts, in line with statutory duties and local priorities.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the Targeted IAG service to ensure high-quality, consistent and timely IAG is delivered to specified groups of young people
- Ensuring compliance with statutory duties and safeguarding responsibilities
- Using data and intelligence to deploy resources, monitor performance and drive improvement in the delivery of key performance indicators
- Developing and maintaining strong partnerships with schools, colleges, providers and other key stakeholders to ensure those who need the support get it
- Providing effective people, performance and budget management
- Contributing to strategic planning aligned with council priorities

About You
You will be an experienced leader with a background in careers guidance and NEET prevention strategies. You will have strong knowledge of statutory guidance in relation to participation, excellent leadership skills and a commitment to improving outcomes for young people.
