Little Astronauts is a space-themed family entertainment centre in Hull, and we're building something genuinely exciting. We're not your typical soft play. We're a modern, innovative environment where children's imaginations run wild and parents can actually relax. Managed by a young, driven team, we're growing fast and we want the right people growing with us.
We're now looking for part-time team members to join the crew.
Your Mission
- Welcome families and make every guest feel genuinely valued from the moment they walk through the door.
- Help prepare and serve our food and drinks to a consistently high standard.
- Keep the café, restaurant, and play areas clean, safe, and well-presented at all times.
- Supervise the play areas, ensuring a fun and secure environment for children.
- Support birthday parties and special events, helping everything run smoothly.
- Deliver brilliant customer service, warm, proactive, and professional.
Hours & Availability
This is a part-time role with variable hours. The majority of your shifts will fall during school holidays and weekends, so availability across both is essential. If you can't commit to that, this probably isn't the right fit, and that's okay.
Who We're Looking For
Honestly? We can teach skills. We can't teach drive.
We're particularly keen to hear from people who have recently left school or college and are ready to get stuck into a role or are looking for a role alongisde their studies. You don't need a long CV, you need the right attitude.
The person we want:
- Is genuinely friendly and confident talking to people, parents, kids, colleagues alike.
- Takes pride in their work and doesn't need to be told twice.
- Shows up, on time, ready to go, every shift.
- Is a team player who understands that the small things matter.
- Has some experience in customer service, hospitality, or working with children. If not, no problem, as long as the attitude is right.
