PRODUCTION OPERATIVE
We are currently recruiting for Production Operative to join our production team at Uform. The successful candidate will be responsible for laminating the smooth orders, prioritising the orders by the dates, making sure all orders progress to the next stage of the production process correct and complete. The role will require the use of computerised systems and will require completion of daily housekeeping tasks & basic preventative maintenance tasks. Reporting to the Production Manager. This position is on a 4 week rotating shift basis - Monday - Wednesday for 2 weeks, Thursday to Saturday for 2 weeks - 6am to 7pm, 37.5 hrs per week. This role also comes with 13% shift rate, with it being a rotational shift.
The ideal applicant should possess the following key attributes:
· Experience in a high volume automated manufacturing plant.
· The ability to read and assess production information for required specification details, working in an organised manner to ensure the task is completed efficiently, to the correct standard and within the necessary time frame.
· A basic working knowledge of Quality Control and Health & Safety within a shop floor environment.
· Ability to work on own initiative.
· Attention to detail.
· Good communication skills.
