About Tailored Management Support
Tailored Management Support (TMS) is a rapidly growing business providing flexible, reliable support solutions to Managing Agents, Freeholders, Developers, Right to Manage and Resident Management Companies across the UK.
Founded to provide seamless support for smarter property management, TMS helps businesses navigate staffing pressures, operational challenges and periods of change by providing experienced property professionals on an interim basis when they’re needed most.
As part of our continued expansion, we’re looking for experienced Block Managers to join our team of Support Managers. This is an exciting opportunity for property professionals who want to use their expertise in a flexible way, supporting a variety of clients and portfolios without the limitations of traditional property management roles.
As a TMS Support Manager, you'll be able to choose the assignments you work, giving you real variety in your career. Assignments vary in length, allowing you to take on consecutive assignments if you’re looking for consistent, full-time work, or select opportunities that fit around your existing commitments if you prefer a more flexible approach.
Unlike many traditional Block Management roles, all of our assignments are fully home based, with no site inspections or visits to be carried out. These are taken care of by our dedicated Site Inspectors.
About the Roles
On a Block Manager assignment with TMS, you will provide professional property management support to our clients, helping them maintain high standards of service and ensuring the effective management of residential developments.
You will work remotely whilst supporting clients with day-to-day portfolio management, resident communication, compliance, contractor coordination and operational tasks.
This is a mindset shift, as although you’re operating as a Block Manager, you are a supplier and your client is the Managing Agent you’re providing the assignment support to.
The role is ideal for an experienced Block Manager who enjoys variety, problem-solving and using their knowledge to make a real difference to property businesses. It also suits professionals looking for more variety in their workload, with the opportunity to support a range of clients, portfolios and assignments whilst applying their expertise in different environments.
Key responsibilities would include but not be limited to:
- Managing portfolios on behalf of our clients
- Acting as a key point of contact for residents, clients, contractors and stakeholders
- Handling resident enquiries and providing timely, professional communication
- Coordinating repairs, maintenance and contractor works
- Managing budgets, service charge information and expenditure oversight
- Supporting compliance requirements including health & safety, statutory obligations and inspections
- Preparing reports, updates and management information for clients
- Supporting clients with ad hoc property management requirements
Why Join Tailored Management Support?
