Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation process
- Work with the Executive Chef to create and develop innovative and delicious menu items
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and other kitchen personnel
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan and execute special events or promotions
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Extensive culinary knowledge and expertise
- Excellent understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Knowledge of current culinary trends and techniques
- Ability to create menus that cater to different dietary needs or preferences
