A role built around people, not a task list
Prosper at Home is looking for kind, reliable and thoughtful Care Professionals to provide relationship-led, person-centred care in customers' own homes. You will help people live safely, confidently and as independently as possible - respecting their choices, routines, identity and what matters to them.
What you will do
· Support personal care, daily routines, nutrition, hydration and agreed household or community activities.
· Promote dignity, choice, independence and positive relationships at every visit.
· Follow each customer's care plan, risk assessments and agreed ways of working.
· Observe and report changes, complete accurate care records and communicate concerns promptly.
· Support medicines, mobility or other delegated tasks only after the required training, competency assessment and authorisation.
· Recognise and report safeguarding, health, safety and quality concerns.
· Work reliably across an agreed rota, which may include mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
What we are looking for
· A genuine commitment to treating people with kindness, dignity and respect.
· Reliable, honest and calm behaviour, with the confidence to speak up and ask for help.
· Clear spoken and written communication and the ability to complete accurate records.
· The ability to work safely without direct supervision and contribute positively to a team.
· Willingness to learn, complete induction and mandatory training, and demonstrate competence.
· Reliable travel between customers' homes. A full UK driving licence and suitable vehicle are essential.
Previous care experience and care qualifications are welcome but are not essential unless clearly stated for this vacancy. Experience gained through family, community or voluntary support can also be valuable.
What Prosper offers
· A values-led service focused on continuity, relationships and quality.
· Structured induction, shadowing, training and competency support.
· Regular supervision, feedback and opportunities to develop.
· Above average rate mileage paid, enhanced rates, pension, wellbeing support, recognition or career development].
