Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in management. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team to achieve operational goals whilst maintaining high standards of performance and customer service
- Organise daily schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor team productivity
- Provide training and support to team members to ensure they meet organisational expectations
- Oversee merchandising activities, ensuring visual standards are maintained across all retail outlets or sales points
- Manage stock levels, organise stock replenishment, and coordinate with suppliers as necessary
- Handle customer enquiries professionally via phone or in person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate updates, motivate staff, and address any issues promptly
- Implement sales strategies to maximise revenue and improve customer engagement
- Maintain administrative records accurately, including attendance, sales reports, and inventory logs
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workplace
- Produce weekly rota's
Skills
- Multilingual or Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to facilitate communication within diverse teams or customer bases
- Proven management experience with a focus on supervising teams in retail or sales environments
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clear organisation of ideas
- Demonstrated experience in merchandising and sales management strategies
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Well-developed organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative duties
- Experience in retail management or related fields is advantageous
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining professionalism and composure
- Knowledge of basic administrative procedures and phone etiquette for professional interactions
