Join our dynamic team as a part-time Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a pristine, welcoming environment for our clients and visitors. This energetic position offers the opportunity to contribute to a clean, safe, and professional space through dedicated cleaning efforts. Ideally we are looking for a cleaner able to work every day, except tuesdays and sundays, starting at 9am for 2 hours to clean the communal areas.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms by disinfecting fixtures, replenishing supplies, and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Handle waste disposal efficiently by emptying trash bins and recycling containers regularly.
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively to achieve optimal results.
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for quick resolution.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold the facility’s cleanliness standards.
Experience
- Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated applicants.
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for team collaboration and customer service.
