About the Role
Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a growing consultancy to recruit a Building Surveyor.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and dynamic team delivering a steady pipeline of professional surveying work. You will work alongside experienced professionals while also taking on client-facing responsibilities, supporting both project delivery and business development.
The role will suit a motivated individual who is confident undertaking surveys, producing detailed reports, and managing client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out professional building surveys, including dilapidations and traditional surveys
Produce detailed reports, schedules, and technical documentation
Provide clear recommendations, including further investigations or remedial works
Manage client relationships and provide regular project updates
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and legislation
Work collaboratively with senior team members while managing your own workload
Support the ongoing development of client relationships and business growth
Requirements
Minimum AssocRICS qualified, working towards MRICS
Proven experience delivering professional building surveying services
Strong understanding of building regulations, legislation, and health & safety
Excellent report writing, numerical, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly organised with strong time management skills
Proactive, motivated, and adaptable approach
Full UK driving licence
