An exciting opportunity has arisen for a polished, customer-focused Reception Host / Service Advisor to join our luxury automotive dealership in Bury St Edmunds.
As the first point of contact for our customers, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience that reflects the prestige and quality of the vehicles we represent. This role combines front-of-house reception duties with service advisor responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, providing outstanding service, and working within a premium retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the dealership with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm.
- Manage the front-of-house reception area, ensuring a premium customer experience at all times.
- Book service, maintenance, and repair appointments.
- Liaise with customers regarding vehicle servicing requirements and provide accurate updates throughout the service process.
- Prepare service estimates, invoices, and related documentation.
- Coordinate with the Customer Service Manager and wider aftersales team to ensure efficient workflow.
- Handle customer enquiries by telephone, email, and in person.
- Manage courtesy vehicle bookings and customer collections.
- Maintain accurate customer records using dealership management systems.
- Resolve customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Support the wider sales and aftersales teams when required.
About You
- Previous experience in a Service Advisor, Reception, Customer Service, Hospitality, or Front-of-House role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A professional and well-presented manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and efficient in a busy environment.
- Confident using computer systems and administrative software.
- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
