We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Hourly Paid Lecturer in Fashion, Business and Retail, working to support in delivering our dynamic and industry-focused Level 3 programme.
In this role, you will plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging curriculum content, supporting learners to bridge the gap between creative visual execution and commercial business strategy. You will guide students through core industry concepts, including fashion communication, buying and merchandising, trend forecasting, and digital branding. Practical experience using Adobe Suite (particularly Photoshop and InDesign) to create digital assets is essential, alongside a robust understanding of contemporary retail practices, consumer trends, and sustainability within the global fashion landscape.
You should have relevant experience within the fashion or retail sector, along with experience of working with young people and/or holding a PGCE (or being willing to obtain one). Knowledge of the UAL Awarding Body framework and project-based portfolio assessment is highly desirable. You should also have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population, being passionate about motivating all learners to nurture their business acumen, technical skills, and commercial creativity.
