Magical Story in Solihull is looking for a confident, enthusiastic and organised Store Supervisor to lead our team through the busiest and most magical time of the year!
October 2026 – Mid-January 2027 (Full-time - 37.5hrs per week)
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail professional who enjoys being hands-on, motivating a team and making sure everything runs smoothly — even when the Christmas rush is in full swing!
⭐ WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
As Store Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in making sure our customers have a fantastic experience, and our store operates at its best.
Your responsibilities will include:
Delivering excellent customer service and leading by example
Ensuring the store is looking its best and fully stocked
Supporting till operations and cash handling
Helping manage deliveries, stock and replenishment
Motivating the team during busy periods
Supporting with opening and closing procedures
Helping organise the team and allocate daily tasks
Dealing confidently with customer queries and resolving issues
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We’re looking for someone who is friendly, confident, organised and loves working with people.
Ideally, you'll have:
✨ Previous retail experience
✨ Supervisory or team-leading experience
✨ Excellent customer service skills
✨ Confidence leading and motivating a team
✨ A positive, can-do attitude
✨ Good organisation and attention to detail
✨ The ability to stay calm and focused when things get busy
✨ A genuine enthusiasm for creating a magical Christmas experience!
The role will involve a variety of shifts across weekdays and weekends, with increased availability particularly important as we approach Christmas and the New Year.
Location: Magical Story, Solihull
Contract: Fixed-term seasonal position
Start: October 2026
Finish: Mid-January 2027
