Position: Hafiz (Qur'an Teacher and Imam)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Qur'an Teaching:
- Conduct Qur'an Hifz classes with a focus on beautiful Qiraat and proper Tajweed for students of all ages.
- Ensure students develop strong recitation skills, memorisation, and understanding of the Qur'an.
- Foster a learning environment that encourages spiritual growth and respect for Islamic teachings.
2. Imam Duties:
- Lead the daily Fajr and Dhuhr prayers with proper Tajweed and Qiraat.
- Provide religious guidance and support to the community as needed.
3. Ramadan Responsibilities:
- Lead Isha and Taraweeh prayers throughout the month of Ramadan, ensuring a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Must be a Hafiz of the Qur'an with a strong, melodious voice and a beautiful recitation (Qiraat) style.
- In-depth knowledge and application of Tajweed rules in recitation.
- Previous experience teaching Qur'an and leading prayers is preferred.
- Must be punctual, responsible, and dedicated to the spiritual and educational development of students and the congregation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students and the community in a positive, respectful manner.
- Must live locally and be able to travel to the masjid
Salary: National Minimum Wage (NMW)
Benefits: 28 days of paid leave annually

- Teach in Evening Madrasa Mon – Friday 4.30pm – 6.30pm
- Teach in Weekend Madrasa Sat – Sun 10am – 4pm
- Lead Fajr and Zuhr Prayers
- Lead five times daily prayers
- Lead Jummah khutba in Arabic and English
