We specialise in caring for children aged 6 to 17 with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, providing a structured and compassionate environment where young people can heal, grow, and thrive.
The Role
We're looking for compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Workers to join our growing team.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting children and young people within our residential homes. Successful applicants will work as part of a dedicated team to provide high-quality care, promote positive outcomes, and maintain a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
Rolling Rota
Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Week 2: Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Shifts run from 8:00am to 8:30pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day care, supervision, and emotional support to children and young people.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that promote stability and positive outcomes.
- Support young people with daily routines, education, appointments, and recreational activities.
- Promote independence, life skills, and emotional wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, incident reports, and handovers.
- Follow safeguarding procedures and ensure the safety and wellbeing of children at all times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to meet the individual needs of young people.
- Support children with emotional and behavioural needs using therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 2 year's experience working in a residential childcare setting (within the last 5 years)
- Experience working with children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) or challenging behaviour is desirable.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Hold a full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential).
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK.

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
