We are looking for a strong and reliable Children and Young People Community Support Worker to join our team within a 16 hours per week role. The ideal candidate will be able to work well with others, display a high level of energy and motivation, participate in regular training and has experience working with with children with emotional and behavioural conditions and complex needs.
This position is for someone who can perform both administrative and operational tasks, such as taking care of accurate records, planning activities and assisting children to THRIVE!
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside other support workers, professionals and families
- Provide individual and family support ranging from daily living skills, education, wellbeing support and personal care
- Support children and young people in key areas of their life, this can include morning school routines, bedtime routines, assisting with education and accessing their local communities!
- Work with a team to plan and implement programs and activities.
- Assist in the implementation of individual's plans for care and support services.
- Adhere to support and care plans and procedures
- Work within the organisations policies and procedures framework
- Work in accordance with regulations
- Proactively contribute to professionals development
Essential:
- Must be a car driver who holds business insurance
- All successful applicants are subject to safer recruitment checks and an Enhanced DBS. Registration must be upheld with DBS update service.

Pay: £13.00-£13.20 per hour
