Birch is a vibrant listening lounge and rotisserie restaurant specialising in bespoke cocktails, curated music, and quality-driven hospitality. With DJs every weekend and a distinctive food and drink offering, we create an atmosphere that is both energetic and refined.
We are seeking a dynamic Cocktail Bartender with the ability to work on the venue floor to join our hospitality team. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about hospitality, thrives in fast-paced nightlife environments, and takes pride in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will combine technical expertise, efficiency, and personality to help maintain Birch’s high standards of service and creativity.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide range of classic and bespoke cocktails with precision and consistency
- Engage guests confidently, offering tailored drink recommendations that enhance their overall experience
- Contribute creatively to seasonal and signature cocktail development
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and full compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Manage high-volume service periods
- Work collaboratively with floor staff, kitchen team, and DJs to ensure seamless service delivery
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a cocktail bartender in a quality-led bar, lounge or fine dining
- Strong knowledge of spirits, flavour profiling, and advanced mixology techniques
- Proficiency with POS systems and accurate cash handling
- Excellent time management and ability to perform under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Sound understanding of responsible alcohol service and food safety standards
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
