ETEL Technology
Supporting over 800 locations including our retail centres, warehouses and dealership sites is no small task. Our Technology department plays a key role in delivering a high quality service to ETEL’s customers 7 days a week. With positions in Architecture, Software Development, Project Management and Technology Operations, our Technology Team provides a complete end to end service to the ETEL business.

The role
Reporting to the Technology Data Analytics Manager, the Analytics Delivery Analyst is responsible for playing a key role in translating business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements. By analysing data, systems, and processes, the role supports the delivery of effective analytics solutions that address critical business challenges.
This position requires a strong blend of technical understanding and interpersonal capability, enabling meaningful engagement with stakeholders and the ability to articulate requirements that drive high‑quality outcomes for the delivery team.
In addition, the role demands excellent communication and relationship‑building skills, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. The Analytics Delivery Analyst is expected to foster trusted partnerships with key stakeholders while ensuring a consistently high standard of service is upheld across the wider team.
All members of the Technology organisation are “Remote Workers”, working in a hybrid capacity at home, the office, or any other relevant UK ETEL location, depending on the needs of the business.
The salary range displayed is based upon relevant skills, experience and qualifications.
Key accountabilities
- Gather, document, and refine business and technical requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
- Translate business needs into clear user stories, functional specifications, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
- Analyse existing systems, APIs, and data flows and automations to identify gaps, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Write SQL queries and python code to investigate data, validate requirements, supporting the team where necessary with simple analysis.
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists and RPA Developers to maintain a high standard of delivery
- Support solution design discussions, contributing technical insight on feasibility, risks, exceptions and trade-offs.
- Facilitate UAT, triage defects, and ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements.
- Help the Analytics, AI and Automation team manage their projects and developments by tracking GitHub and GitHub Projects.
- Review the cost effectiveness of solutions delivered by the team to the business
- Develop and maintain a Service Catalogue for supported processes built by the team
- Undertaking any other duties which may be requested by Management, for which training and/or an explanation has been provided and understood.
Skills & experience
- Excellent communication skills
- 3+ years as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, or similar role in IT or Data Science domain.
- Working knowledge of APIs (REST, JSON), and basic understanding of system integrations.
- Skilled at producing process flows, sequence diagrams, ERDs, and other technical documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with proven ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Good fundamental programming knowledge with a scripting language for data analysis (Python preferred).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). (Desirable)
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. (Desirable)
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures, microservices, or ETL pipelines. (Desirable)
- Proficient in SQL and comfortable querying relational databases. (Desirable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
