About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our busy and vibrant venue.
This role combines both venue management and bar management responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional customer experiences, and the successful delivery of events. Working closely with the management team, you will play a key role in maintaining high service standards, supporting and developing staff, and driving operational excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the overall day-to-day management of the venue.
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Assist with bar operations, including stock control, ordering, and performance management.
- Ensure the smooth execution of private events and venue bookings.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and compliance throughout the venue.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally and efficiently.
- Support staff training, scheduling, and performance management.
- Monitor operational procedures and contribute to continuous improvements.
About You
The ideal candidate will:
- Have previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality.
- Be confident leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess strong organisational and communication skills.
- Be proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused.
- Have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Be comfortable managing both venue operations and bar performance.
