Job Overview
Eaglescliffe Golf Club is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a flexible role with a guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week. The position involves working alongside our chefs, helping us deliver excellent cuisine to our members, guests and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with food preparation and service in the kitchen
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Supporting club events and functions when required
- Working as part of a team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
- Occasional front of house service as required
Skills
- Minimum one year experience in a catering role
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Allergen awareness
- A friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event shifts
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
